🔥 NEW BUSINESS SHOUT OUT
🧶 Blue Yarn Studio, Morningside Road, Edinburgh

I first met Lucy a while back at a Pop Up event and I have followed her updates on socials as she has taken her followers on the journey to opening her first shop in Morningside this week.
An independent handmade knits and yarn business. A passion project that now has its own space where makers can gather and create.
Wishing Lucy all the best and I hope to drop by soon to say hello. Give Lucy a follow and check the shop out next time you are in Morningside.
📍 77 Morningside Road, Edinburgh
🏪 LOCAL BUSINESS HIGHLIGHTS
💍 Jenny Lockhart Jewellery, Edinburgh
I first met Jenny at a market in Dunbar. It was a great day at Wishing Tree by the Sea but it was too busy to record there and then with Jenny.
So Jenny sent me a video intro to her business and the jewellery she creates.
Bespoke handmade sterling silver jewellery designed and crafted in Scotland. Jenny creates beautiful pieces across bangles, earrings, necklaces, rings, gemstone and feather ranges. All made with genuine care and craft. Her memorial jewellery service is particularly special for anyone looking to create something meaningful and lasting. 🩷
🏛️ The Fraser Centre, Tranent, East Lothian
A wee hidden gem in East Lothian that I have actually known about for a long time! I should have shared this place a lot sooner! I’ve booked this cinema every Christmas for the last 4 years to put on a community Christmas Movie night.
It’s a community hub offering a regular programme of films and live entertainment, activities and workshops, rooms for hire and a cafe for up to 40 people.
It’s fully accessible, close to public parking and on the bus route from Edinburgh and around East Lothian.
Drop in next time you are passing or check it out if you are thinking about a cinema party. It’s worth a visit.
